Tournament information
The tournament is arranged by Waasan WetoWoima, the ultimate frisbee club at the University of Vaasa. Waasan WetoWoima (WWW) was born year 1986. Until the late 90´s, WWW was one of the top teams in Finland winning several Finnish Championships medals and NSUT victories. After that WWW has mainly focused on student tournaments. Together with Vaasa´s local team Vaasa Saints the club arranges NSUT every year.

Venue
NSUT is played at Kauppis, THE VENUE which has hosted many unforgettable tournaments. The address for Kauppis is Ruutikellarintie 2, 65100 Vaasa and it´s official name is Vamia Hansa-kampus (see Juhlasali 7 in the picture). The entrance to the sport hall is in the back of the building. Also, some games will be played at Rolleri, which is located in 5 minutes walking distance from Kauppis at Ruutikellarintie 6. Official name of Rolleri is Urheilukeskus.
Venues open 30 minutes before the first games. There are showers and locker rooms on both venues. Unfortunately, no sauna this year either but we can offer you warm cuddles. Venues are located 2 km from the city centrum.
Food
Tournament fee includes a dinner on Saturday. You show your tournament pass and then food you get. Team contact person will receive the virtual tournament passes via email before the tournament starts. The dinner is served as a buffet at Bacchus/Svenska Klubben (Rantakatu 4), and the doors are open between 19-21!

There will of course be a buffet at Kauppis. You can find food and snacks with reasonable price to satisfy your appetite! And buns buns buns. Please bring cash with you or have your MobilePay ready. And, we always serve free coffee for those with University of Vaasa student card!
With tournament pass you also get special price for Niska's delicious plåtbröd all weekend! Any plåtbröd for 12,70 e. Niska is located in the city center (Hovioikeudenpuistikko 13).
Parties
Woop Woop!
In NSUT it’s not just about the games so NSUT weekend starts already on Friday. Therefore remember to plan your journey so that you won’t miss the warm feeling of ultimate-lovers meeting in the excitement for the upcoming weekend. This is one of the favorite parts of the tournament for our frequent visitors.
We will meet on Friday at Tørst at 22 (doors open at 21)! Tørst is open until 04, and you will get discounted entrance 5e to Fontana upstairs. There are also discounts with the tournament pass! Tørst is located at Hovioikeudenpuistikko 15.
On Saturday, we will have the legendary NSUT party at Leipis and the dance floor is waiting for your moves. The traditional NSUT pub quiz starts at 22:30 so make sure you´re there on time - doors open at 22! Best team will get their reward. And for the others - remember that also at Leipis there are discounts with the tournament pass. Leipis is located at Hietasaarenkatu 14.
Note that the daylight saving time ends during the night from Saturday to Sunday, so adjust your clock an hour backwards sometime around 04:00 am.
Sleep
Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is offering discounted prices for our tournament visitors between 27.-29.10.2023! The hotel is located in the heart of the city, in shopping center Rewell Center.

Local transportation
There is no local transportation on behalf of the tournament but don´t you worry - Vaasa has reputedly the least expensive public local transportation in Finland. Also, Vaasa has Tier, so pack your helmet with you. Kauppis is located 2 km from the city centrum.
